TRACING YOUR ANCESTORS

We receive many enquiries from people trying to find out about their ancestors who may have been pupils at the Blue Coat School.  Before contacting us, these little pointers may help you.

1.  Are you sure it was the LIVERPOOL Blue Coat School?  There are several other Blue Coat Schools around the country.

2.  From 1920 onwards, records are retained by ourselves.  Please contact us for more information.

3.  Prior to 1920, enquiries should be directed to:

If you are looking for an Old Blue who is still alive, it is possible that they may be a member of the Liverpool Blue Coat Old Blues' Association.  If you contact us, we will check our records.  The Data Protection Act 1998 prevents us from giving out contact details of our members, but we can forward your details on to them and ask them to contact you.
